Mountains & Meadows Care Group (MMCG) is inviting proposals from qualified pharmacy service providers to support the healthcare needs of its residents. As a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the well-being of aging individuals, those with intellectual disabilities, and individuals with long-term mental health challenges, MMCG is committed to ensuring high-quality, accessible pharmaceutical care across its three Bridgetown, NS facilities:
Mountain Lea Lodge (107 residents)
The Meadows Community (33 residents)
Willowvale Supervised Apartments (9 residents)
Key Requirements
MMCG is looking for a pharmacy partner that can provide:
✔️ Prescription fulfillment & delivery – Ensuring timely and secure medication supply to all three locations.
✔️ On-site pharmacy services – Weekly in-person pharmacist visits, consultation, and medication management.
✔️ Medication safety & compliance – Adherence to provincial and federal healthcare regulations, including drug interaction monitoring and immunization support.
✔️ Resident & staff education – Training sessions on medication management and best practices.
✔️ Cost-effective solutions – Competitive pricing, value-added benefits, and efficient prescription tracking.
Proposal Deadline
Interested pharmacy providers are invited to submit their proposals by February 26, 2025, at 4:00 PM (Atlantic Time). The selected provider will be awarded the contract by March 28, 2025, with services beginning April 1, 2025.
