What is it about your workplace that makes it unique?
How helpful all the staff are with each other in every department.
Why do you continue to stay?
I enjoy the participants a lot and The Meadows has provided me with lots of life and work skills.
What would you say to a friend who was thinking about working here?
It’s a very rewarding work place and you’ll instantly belong to the team. The pay is very good and the managers are very understanding and helpful.
Do you have any advice for people thinking of applying to work for MMCG?
Make sure that you’re here for the right reasons and are willing to help with what isn’t in your job description occasionally.
How would you describe the company culture/atmosphere?
The atmosphere is very connected - you feel as though you belong to a work family.
Describe your best day at work.
My best day of work is the day we had a Santa visit in the activity room. There was great group effort in my department, and the participants were so happy and surprised.
What are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of the positive effect I bring to my participants daily and goals that I’ve helped them to achieve throughout the years. I am also very proud of all the good experiences and memories we have created.
Describe the moment when you knew you had made the right decision to work here.
Every morning when I walk into work, I am greeted by participants who are all very happy to see me and ask how I have been.
What are 5 things about your work that you’re most passionate about?
The people I work with, creating special experiences, offering my knowledge to teach skills, making a difference in people’s lives, and building a special relationship with each and every client.

My work has made me feel more fulfilled with my life and has guided me to my current education, which I am very passionate about.
